2019-2020 Season

Team Vision:

To be a team that displays professionalism both on and off the ice. We will represent PAC to the best of our abilities and in a way that makes PAC proud to claim us as their players. On the ice we will be a team that uses our speed, size and skill to outwork other teams by finishing checks, breaking down forechecks, and using relentless defence to smother opponents’ attacks. Through our dedication to playing as a team and our persistent pursuit of the puck we will show up to the rink every game with the mindset that we will be successful.

Team identity:

  • Consistency. We will be a team that delivers a consistent hardworking effort every night. Each player needs to come prepared to put their best foot forward.
  • Professionalism. We are looking for players who are coachable, open-minded, and disciplined in how they conduct ourselves on and off the ice at the rink.  Being professional is the first step in becoming a consistent player.
  • Hockey IQ. Being able to process the game quickly is something we are looking for as a staff. Players need to be able to read and react to every situation in a game. It is important when you have the puck, but also equally important when you don’t have the puck. Furthermore, we are looking for players who are willing to make mistakes, and are able to learn from those mistakes.
  • We Not I Mentality. This mentality separates great teams from good teams. You need to be willing to take short shifts, finish checks, take a hit to make the play, and put the team’s success before your own.
  • Leadership. Be a “tryhard”- take pride in doing whatever is necessary to get the job done. Support your teammates. Rally your teammates. Come up with solutions. When it gets hard, rise to the occasion and lead the team instead of waiting for someone else to do it for you.
