Players will be part of a cohort group of less then 50 players/goalies/benchstaff for a brief time. If movement from one cohort group to another is required, then physical distancing will be maintained for 2 weeks prior to the movement of any players.
The timeline for when modified game play will start is still being determined and is anticipated to be during the month of November. What the modified game play will be is dependent on a number of factors including recommendations from the Alberta Government, Hockey Alberta and the League. Players may still be moved from a cohort group to another cohort group during this time period.
The groupings for the first two days of evaluation skates will be posted on this page by Thursday evening at the latest. The volunteer list will be released at the same time as the groupings. Please continue to check this page for updates, as information continues to be released.
As the 2020-2021 season will be a lot different with cohort teams, the SGMHA U15 tiered divisions are looking for head coaches that can be dynamic and collaborative.
Coach applications are now being accepted for the upcoming 2020-2021 season. Please consider filling out the Coaching Application form and emailing it to me at email@example.com with the Application attached.
